The River In Me is a portrait of the Chinese musician Su Yang and northwestern China, where the Qinqiang, Piying and Huaer art movements derive from. As one of the end results of a three-year ethnographic project, this documentary shows how local villagers live a life within these unique musical and artistic expressions, and how they struggle to maintain those traditions.
