Hang Youth

Abel van Gilswijk’s new political punk band pushes outrage, angry mob-isms and radicalist sloganeering to cartoonish, post-serious extremes, deliberately keeping each song under the one-minute mark.  Everything – from Joe Rogan, Elon Musk to Dutch King Willem Alexander – gets thrown onto the cinder blocks: a cathartic outcry in all caps that’s feral, funny and furious in equal measure. Hang Youth will play their two records, ALLES MOET BETER and BOEL AAN DE HAND in succession.
