Arp Frique & Family are the past, present and future scrambled together in one groovy unit. It’s impossible not to be enraptured by this ensemble’s super contagious, forward-thinking cocktail of Afrobeat, disco and funk. The project headed by musician, songwriter and producer Niels Nieuborg takes inspiration from the diversity of Nieuborg’s hometown of Rotterdam, imbuing a confluence of seventies vibes from the regions of Surinam, Ghana and Cape Verde.
